The Druze community, offered Israeli citizenship after the annexation of the Golan Heights in 1981, mostly refused it. They can study and work in Israel but do not have voting rights.
Gaza Strikes and Civilian Casualties
In a related development, the IDF struck a school near Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, resulting in the deaths of at least 30 Palestinians and injuring over 100.
